Facilities

Thomastown East Primary School is housed in two main buildings with air conditioning in all rooms. In addition to the classrooms, there is a multi- purpose hall, library, art/craft & music rooms, a school kitchen, canteen, reading recovery room and literacy withdrawal area. Surplus classroom spaces have been utilised in an innovative way for a variety of specialist curriculum activities. ICT is a priority throughout Thomastown East Primary School and at the end of 2007, every classroom across the school was fitted with an interactive whiteboard.

Our grounds provide children with a safe and secure environment within the boundaries of a high fence. We have an asphalt area that includes marked bat tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. There is a well planned adventure playground and a grassed area that caters well for both active and passive recreation.
