Thomastown East Primary School sees itself as a ‘family orientated school’. Staff and parents work cooperatively to provide an educational program and the physical resources that offer optimum opportunities for each child to experience success.
Input from parents is sought in the following range of activities:
Early Years Literacy Program
Parents helping in classrooms
Assisting with the extra-curricular activities and special events
Covering library books
Assistance with newsletter articles
Ideas and opinions regarding the design and effectiveness of school programs and policies
Membership on School Council or one of its sub-committees such as Fundraising, education/Policy, Buildings and Grounds or Publicity/Community Relations
Participation in school working bees and the maintenance of the school gardens
