Curriculum:

Student Leadership

At Thomastown East Primary School students are provided with a range of opportunities to develop and promote leadership qualities within and beyond the school.

We currently have a number of students involved in the following leadership programs:

• Junior School Council
• Young Leaders Program
• Peer Mediators

These programs instil an increased sense of responsibility within the students as they help to make key decisions around the school. They act as mentors to their peers and play a key role in the promotion of school events at assembly on a weekly basis.
